Professor Ian Grosvenor "Back to the future with Black History Month"

To celebrate Black History Month a programme of thought-provoking talks, exhibitions and activities focusing on different ethnic histories will be taking place across the campus throughout October.

Discover the hidden Black presence in paintings in the Barber galleries, find out about the Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern manuscripts at the Cadbury Research Library or visit the Danford Collection of West African Art and Artefacts. These are just some of the events about Black History all drawn from the University's Collections.

Activities are being held at the Barber Institute of Fine Art, the Cadbury Research Library, the Aston Webb Rotunda, the Centre for West African Studies, the Main Library and Winterbourne House and Garden.
