The University of Birmingham offers opportunities for our students to work with university collections overseas, giving them the chance to learn how our international colleagues use and work with their collections.
Clare Mullett, Cultural Initiatives Manager and Deputy University Curator discusses the International Student Museums and Collections Award, which is a Universitas 21 project. The Award is open to students from the University of Birmingham and the University of Melbourne, who are invited to apply for a one month placement.
We also meet recent Award recipients Katy Wade (University of Birmingham) and Emily Wubben (University of Melbourne), who discuss their experiences.
