Early Entry Teachers

Hosted by our School of Education at the University of Birmingham, we will be offering support networking sessions, specifically designed for those that have recently qualified as a teacher, or are within the first three years of teaching.

These networking sessions will focus on the UK and UAE teaching standards. They will help us to support your professional journey as you progress through your teaching career. Our networking sessions typically cover assessment, lesson planning and observations, managing teacher workload, differentiation and wellbeing. Each session is delivered by experienced practitioners who have been classroom based teachers for a number of years. This is an opportunity for you to keep up to date with changes in the education system, to engage with leading educational research and to get a taste of our suite of continuous professional development accredited programmes that are due to launch in 2020. Our first session will take place in the new academic year of 2019.
