The University of Birmingham has a rich tradition of developing its students and producing highly employable graduates. In the UK, the University of Birmingham is third in the country in the Guardian University Guide 2019 for graduate-level employment six months after graduation.
We are proud to be highly sought after by employers too, coming second in the country in the High Fliers Graduate Market report 2018 for 'Universities most targeted by the largest number of Top Employers'. We value our strong links with employers throughout the world and know that in order to best prepare our students for life after university, it is not sufficient just to provide them with an excellent education, they must also have skills, experience and industry insight.
Here are some of the ways in which you can engage our student and graduate talent:
Internships and placements not only provide a valuable learning opportunity for our students, they also give you the opportunity to work with high quality and knowledgeable students for competitive rates. Our students are looking for work experience in a range of sectors.
Dubai Big Ideas Challenge
In partnership with key employers, the Dubai Big Ideas Challenge is an intensive three-day solutions competition. Students will work in teams to develop creative solutions for real challenges set by employers and will collaborate with their peers from across disciplines at the University of Birmingham Dubai to learn vital employability and enterprising skills. The Challenge will be an annual event so we would be delighted to discuss opportunities for you to partner with us.
