DESCRIPTION:Join us for "Preparing for future health challenges" on Thursday 30th May to explore innovation and policies to build resilient health systems, improve response capabilities and ensure health equity. \n
About the event
COVID-19 exposed the limitations and unpreparedness of health systems globally, forcing governments to rethink their models and prioritise innovation. The UAE has led the way, establishing one of the most resilient health sectors, built on R&D and robust policy. On Thursday 30 May, the University of Birmingham Dubai is bringing together some of the country’s leading academics, industry figures and government health officials to explore how innovations in genomics and precision medicine, combined with effective policymaking, are contributing to more resilient health models, improving national readiness for future pandemics\n
The sessions will convene representatives from across sectors and disciplines, including leading academics, industry figures, and government healthcare officials, to focus on the imperative to drive strategic preparedness and to safeguard public health in the UAE. They will discuss proactive healthcare approaches and share insights on the latest developments in the field. This event presents a valuable opportunity to network and engage in critical conversations driving innovation in the healthcare industry. \n
