Join us at our next Teacher Education Open Evening on Wednesday 6th March to hear from world renown experts in Autism and Inclusion and Special Education Needs.

Globally, including students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms is becoming a major topic of educational development. In Dubai, this has certainly become a major area of focus. In this lecture, Dr Matthew Schuelka (Programme Leader of ISEN at UoB-Dubai) will discuss why inclusive education is important, how we know that inclusion is ‘working’, and challenges to inclusion that we can work to overcome. The lecture will focus both on Dubai and other lessons-learned from around the world.

The lecture is followed by a question and answer session chaired by Professor Karen Guldberg
