Join our Digital Masterclass on ‘Exploring advancing practice in healthcare – a global and multiprofessional viewpoint’ by Dr Eloise Phillips, on Tuesday 2nd May from 5-6pm (GST).

Abstract

Calling all nurses, midwives, paramedics, physiotherapists, pharmacists and allied health professionals!

 Join us to explore the global developments in advancing practice with a synopsis of what it means to be an advanced practitioner in key global countries and core professional groups where advanced practice is central to healthcare delivery. During this masterclass, our expert academic Dr Eloise Philips will provide insight into the drivers for change in healthcare delivery models, shaping and establishing new roles and the impact having an advanced practice education can have on your existing practice.

Meet the Experts

Dr Eloise Phillips, Associate Professor in  Advanced Practice in Healthcare

Dr Eloise Phillips is a highly experienced advanced practitioner and has worked globally in clinical practice, healthcare management and leadership and academia. Dr Phillips is passionate regarding the advanced practice agenda and providing all healthcare professionals with the opportunities to influence and shape service provision and progress their careers.

Eloise’s PhD work contributed to service level change and provision within Community and Urgent Care in the UK NHS, and she continues to pursue research within the areas of Multimorbidity, Advanced Practice, Patient Safety and Healthcare Education. With previous National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) tenures, Eloise continues to provide expert reviews for the NIHR and provides PhD supervision and external examining for students and universities globally.
