Our Standard Requirements

  • An Honours degree in a medical or health field of practice
  • Current professional registration in country of practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development that shows your ability to study at master’s level
  • Preferably at least 12 months of experience post qualification

International Requirements



International Students

IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band


TOEFL: 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing

Pearson Test of English (PTE) including online: PTE Academic 67 with no less than 64 in all four skills

Cambridge English (exams taken from 2015): Advanced – minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component

Increasingly there is an expectation from employers that those in middle and senior positions have acquired the attributes inherent in postgraduate study and can demonstrate this through problem solving, supporting, and facilitating other members of the multidisciplinary team and through their leadership in work environments.

This programme will foster the development of health system and policy experts that are fit-for-purpose and fit-for-practice practitioners to become responsible team leaders, managers, researchers and/or experts.
