This scholarship recognises Birmingham alumni and their families who choose to continue their education at our Dubai campus, offering an additional AED 5,000 tuition fee award for the first year of study.
Who can apply?
Available for September 2026 entry only.
The AED 5,000 additional scholarship is available in year one of undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses at the University of Birmingham Dubai. It is open to graduates of the University of Birmingham and their immediate family members (spouse, siblings, or children).

How to Apply
A separate scholarship application is not required. All Conditional Offers are reviewed for scholarship eligibility using the documents submitted with your application.
A copy of the alum's University of Birmingham degree certificate is required; please ensure you upload this to the Admissions portal.
Following the issue of a Conditional Offer from the University of Birmingham Dubai, your application will be considered by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship confirmation is normally issued by email within 10 working days.
