A day in my life
A typical day in my student life as a BSc Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science student is both structured and fun. I usually arrive on campus around mid-morning and attend lectures that vary between AI-focused modules and core programming subjects.
Between lectures, I spend time on campus socialising and collaborating with friends, often around the Spanish Steps, before moving into meetings linked to the CFA Research Challenge and the Consulting Society.
Why Birmingham Dubai?
I chose the University of Birmingham Dubai because it offered a combination of global academic credibility and regional relevance. The opportunity to earn a British degree while studying in the UAE was a decisive factor. During my decision-making process, the University emerged as the frontrunner. Its campus facilities, academics, and prestige stood out compared to other options in Dubai.
I attended an on-campus Open Day, which played a key role in my decision. Engaging directly with student ambassadors and professors, alongside a guided tour of the campus, provided clarity beyond brochures or rankings.
I chose to live and study in Dubai because it offers safety, opportunity, and a high quality of life. Beyond this, Dubai provides opportunities for professional growth and a vibrant student-friendly lifestyle.

As organisations increasingly invest in data-driven and intelligent systems, gaining a strong technical foundation has become essential.
The course at Birmingham stood out for its balance between core computer science fundamentals and applied artificial intelligence, allowing me to develop both theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving skills.
