Why Birmingham Dubai?

I always wanted to be part of a university which ranked high globally (top 100).

Studying in Dubai

Dubai specifically is an international hub for all industries, including technology and construction. I was able to connect with industry leaders at various events because of the city’s nature. It’s multicultural, people from all around the world live here.

Why I chose to study Construction Management

I came across the MSc Construction Management from the University of Birmingham Dubai (UoBD), which literally included every aspect of the construction industry.

It was quite a natural choice for me to go for this specific course simply because of its core modules. It included everything, yet kept it simple.

My Birmingham Dubai experience

The faculty were extremely knowledgeable, and the support they provided each week was valuable. Overall, the quality of teaching was simply A-class.

Another great part about studying at UoBD was that you get to make connections with people from all around the globe.

The campus was more than what a student could ask for. Personally, I preferred studying at the University library more than anywhere else.

My highlight during the 1-year masters experience must be my lectures during the second semester. Everything made sense at the end of my course; I found myself connecting all the modules together in one piece.

Advice for students

It’s a no-brainer for whoever is thinking of taking MSc Construction Management.

My advice to future students would be to get comfortable and familiar with the basics of business aspects before starting the course; having expertise in simple business terms can be a game-changer.
