Term dates and academic calendar
Attendance is required throughout term time, including during assessment support, examination periods, and the summer term.
Some programmes may teach outside the standard academic calendar, and in exceptional cases, some postgraduate taught programmes may make changes to teaching or assessment dates during the academic year. Please check the programme page, programme handbook, or contact the Programme Director for details.
We observe UAE public holidays and University closure days. Dates based on the Islamic Hijri calendar may change.

The standard academic calendar term dates apply to most undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.
Some programmes may teach outside this standard calendar; non-standard programmes include: all School of Education programmes, MBA, MSc Supply Chain Management, MSc Global Health System Leadership, and all January start foundation programmes.
