Attendee Requirements: Attendees should be studying A-Level Geography, Geology or Environmental Science

About: The class will explore the basic science behind climate change including the impact on critical basic atmospheric services.  We will explore why the atmosphere is the most valuable, as well as the most vulnerable, resource on the planet.  The impact of climate change on society including melting ice, sea level rise, extreme weather (heatwaves, floods, droughts, wind storms etc) and forced migration will be examined.  A fun quiz will then be followed by an analysis of proposed solutions including climate geoengineering. 

Additional Information: Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13. Please note you may not be allocated all the places you request depending on availability.
