About: This masterclass will challenge its participants to script, plan, shoot and edit a 30 second film in 2 hours. Students will be provided with a genre, a line of dialogue and 1 specific camera shot, which must be included in their final piece. They will have to work in small teams and between them work together to creative a film within the time limit. In this hands-on and creative masterclass, students will learn about film genre, film production and planning, camera and editing software and the roles within film production as well as having fun.  They will also learn how to script and create shot lists, gaining an insight into the technical classes that are part of the English and Film course at the university.

Additional Information: Schools will be limited to 5 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13.
