Write what you don't know

Event Capacity: 100

Year Group: 11, 12 and 13

Subject(s): Creative Writing, English

Attendee Requirements: None

About: Combining a diverse range of reading and writing exercises, this Masterclass will challenge the age-old piece of Creative Writing advice; 'write what you know'.

Instead, by inviting students to look beyond the realms of their own personal experience, this session will reveal how storytelling can help us to expand our horizons, and to learn about - and empathise with - other cultures. The session is well suited for students studying English or Creative Writing at A Level.

Additional Information: Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13. Please note you may not be allocated all the places you request depending on availability.

To find out more about any of the Masterclasses, please e-mail the Masterclass team.
