Deaf awareness and signing session

Human Resources, supported by Sense invite you to and this lunchtime session on deaf awareness followed by a signing session.

Join Anne, a Sign Language Skills Facilitator and Emma, the lead for Usher Service who both work for Sense as they deliver an awareness session for us as part of Disability History Month.

Following both short presentations we get to the interactive section, a participation signing session. This will cover things such as greetings, seasons, and university related words i.e. 'student', 'graduate', 'university', 'campus', 'Birmingham', 'Old Joe.
