DESCRIPTION:Bring your family and friends for a free evening of spectacular entertainment at the Birmingham Prom. Join us at the heart of campus, in Chancellor's Court, on Saturday 9 June from 19:30. With music from the University's talented Orchestra and Choir, you'll be blown away by an outstanding programme of well-known classical, Broadway and film scores.\n
 There is still time to encourage your family and friends to register  - so make sure they don’t miss out on this spectacular event.\n

 Gates open: 6.00pm\n
 Location: University of Birmingham, Chancellor’s Court, B15 2TT\n
 There will be student ambassadors on hand around campus to direct you to the event.\n
 Transport\n Car parking is limited so we encourage guests to walk or use public transport. No parking (except parking for Blue Badge holders) will be available within the main campus.\n
 For disabled parking only please report to the East Gate on Edgbaston Park Road where you will be directed by a steward. There is hard standing access to a dedicated viewing area for wheelchair users.\n
 Food & Drink\n There will be a choice of catering available on the night to suit all tastes and budgets. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnics or alternatively take advantage of our catering village which includes a range of street food options and a licensed bar.\n
 Inside the Arena\n Feel free to bring camping chairs and blankets but please be considerate to other visitors. All chairs should be kept in designated areas behind the ’chair free zone’ for the comfort of all guests.\n
 Weather\n Please be prepared for all weather conditions. The Prom will go ahead come rain or shine! However, in the event of high winds or extreme weather conditions the event may be cancelled. The University will use all reasonable endeavours to alert those who have booked to attend and details will be posted on the Proms website: http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/prom. Attendees are responsible for checking this information prior to the event.\n
