The second annual Global Women’s Health (GLOW) Conference at the University of Birmingham on Friday 1st November 2013 will bring together leading researchers and practitioners in the field of maternal healthcare, to disseminate new knowledge and ideas, to share best practice and work more effectively towards a world of safe pregnancy and childbirth.\n Keynote speaker Carole Presern (Executive Director of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health) says that, “We’ve seen an important reduction in maternal and child deaths, but it’s too soon to congratulate ourselves.
