Art and Writing

Come to the Barber for an evening of poetry and prose readings inspired by the gallery's magnificent collection of painting, sculpture, and decorative art. Philip Monks, along with academics from the University of Birmingham’s English department, will delight the audience with new and original pieces as well as classic works by the greats, such as John Donne and Alexander Pope.
