Formed in 2010, the Ehnes Quartet, led by internationally celebrated soloist James Ehnes, makes its Barber Institute debut. The programme highlights two works with traditional, folk music influences by Bartók and Suk, and also showcases the quartet’s ‘talent, intelligence and sensitivity’ (La Presse) in what has become their signature piece, Ravel’s String Quartet in F.
