DESCRIPTION:Joseph Middleton returns to the Barber Concert Hall with the Second Prize winner in the 2013 Kathleen Ferrier Award, Louise Alder. Louise made her Barber debut in the 2009 Barber Opera, Agrippina, and has been described as ‘a radiant performer’ in the Financial Times and ‘engrossing’ in the Birmingham Post. She recently graduated from the International Opera School with the prestigious Tagore Gold Medal as the inaugural Kiri Ti Kanawa scholar. With an exciting schedule ahead of her, Louise makes her Glyndebourne Festival Opera debut next year and joins the ensemble at the Frankfurt Opera in September.\n Cost: Free of charge\n \n
