DESCRIPTION:On Thursday 19 March the University of Birmingham will welcome Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for the Birmingham Edgbaston parliamentary constituency to the Bramall Music Building. This event provides a great opportunity to hear from local candidates from across the political parties on local and national issues in the run up to the General Election.\n
 The incumbent, Gisela Stuart MP (Labour) will be joined on the panel of prospective candidates by Lee Dargue (Liberal Democrats), Luke Evans (Conservative), Henna Rai (Independent), and Phil Simpson (Green Party). Further candidates may be added to the panel. Candidates will highlight their policies in a short presentation before a debate. \n
