SUMMARY:Natural Cleaning Workshop
UID:www.birmingham.ac.uk/191346
DESCRIPTION:Natural cleaning workshop: make your own cleaning products from household ingredients
Does it strike you as strange that our cleaning products come covered in warning signs, but we spray them all over our homes? The back-of-the-throat burn you can get with traditional cleaning products is a hint that they’re not good for us.  \n
Home-made cleaning products are simple and cheap to make from just a handful of natural ingredients, smell delicious and are kind to you and the earth. Join us and learn how to make lemon spray cleaner, glass cleaner, cream cleaner and laundry powder. We’ll provide all the ingredients and equipment - you just need to bring along a few repurposed containers to take your recipes home in.\n
Please note, this workshop will run twice:\n

The first workshop will run 11.30am - 1pm - tickets for session one are available to book here.
The second workshop (a repeat of the first) will run 3 - 4.30pm - tickets for session two are available to book here.

This workshop is presented as part of The Air We Breathe, a brand new public progamme at The Exchange bringing together cutting edge research from across the University of Birmingham. From a hydrogen train to a sci-fi forest, discover how the University is delivering clean air both here in Birmingham and around the world.\n
