Back(stitch) to the Future – A Collaborative Art Project

The Women’s Network are launching a collaborative art project, to run from IWD 2021 to IWD 2022! We’d like as many colleagues as possible to create a fabric square featuring a quote that particularly resonates with them, and has seen them through these challenging times. These squares will then stitched together into a wall hanging, and put on display on campus for IWD 2022. With more of us turning to crafts for wellbeing (and to pass the long lockdown days), we’re hoping this will be a great way to share our collective wisdom and crafty talents. Quotes can be created via any medium (cross stitch, applique, or even just fabric pens) and be as intricate or as basic in design as you like!
