Backstitch to The Future – A Women's Network community project.

In 2021 the Women’s Network launched their Community craft project – Backstitch to the Future. One year later crafters discuss their contribution to the piece that will be display in the library throughout March to mark International Women’s Day.

The Backstitch to the Future, was launched to creatively capture the experiences of women and gender diverse people at the University. One year later crafters discuss their contribution to the piece that will be display in the library throughout March to mark International Women’s Day. We encourage you to visit the display in the Library Foyer when you are on Campus in March and to come along to hear more about the project and it’s future.
