DESCRIPTION:Patrick Hall, Development Director of Maddison Product Design, presents a product design seminar based in Research and Commercial Services.\n \n This seminar will look at how good ideas become marketable and commercially successful products, by looking at the development of ideas into products and the role of design in Technology Transfer. \n \n Product design affects the look, feel and functionality of the things we use every day and improves marketability and user experience. As such product design is an integral part of the wider process of developing new products. Maddison is a leading product design consultancy with a track record of helping academic groups to commercialise their technology. This seminar will cover the process of product development; usability; regulatory issues and risk management. Patrick will be available for 1-2-1 meetings to discuss specific projects. \n
