About: This masterclass will explore geoengineering and the basic science behind the concept. As part of this, it provides insight into the origins of geoengineering and the work of Soviet and Russian climate scientists. The final part of the workshop reflects more broadly on the place of Russia in the contemporary debate around climate change. The masterclass will be delivered via a combination of powerpoint and group activities.

Additional information: Schools will be limited to 8 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Years 12 and 13.
