SUMMARY:Multiple Voices: New York City Poetry
UID:www.birmingham.ac.uk/212684

It's an examination of poetry that calls attention to the everyday experiences of urban life, that tells many stories, articulates inner lives, and expresses tactics of survival and modes of care. It's about poetry that walks and talks.\n
The masterclass will start with a short lecture offering an overview of the themes and material, followed by a workshop in you will close-read and discuss a handful of selected poems.\n
