Learn from lecturers who are research-leaders in their fields in interactive and engaging talks and work in small groups to delve deeper into the valuable and interesting studies into forestry.

Uncover clues and solve puzzles in your teams with the assistance of virtual reality headsets and touch screen devices. Build teamworking and collaboration skills whilst expanding your geographical and biological knowledge.

Try to break out from our 'escape-room style activities' whilst learning more about the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research Free-Air Carbon Enrichment (BIFoR FACE) and gaining a deeper awareness of the impact of climate change on our surrounding woodlands and forests.

This hands-on activity session is tailor-made for Biology and Geography enthusiasts in KS4 and KS5. Get a sneak peek into the fascinating world of BIFoR FACE research, seamlessly connecting the dots to your curriculum.
