SUMMARY:BabyLab Sessions
UID:www.birmingham.ac.uk/213830
DESCRIPTION:A relaxed session for parents and carers to explore fascinating research while little ones play, feed, or snooze. \n
Each session welcomes guest researchers to share insights on topics from child development to science, health, and society.\n
The Exchange offers a welcoming, accessible space with excellent baby-changing facilities. Come as you are - curious minds (and wriggly babies) encouraged!\n
This month's session
In this session, find out why reading books, from a favourite picture book to a bedtime story, matters for children’s language and social development. Plus, explore the fascinating world of bacteria, and how having too many or too few could affect how children grow and develop.\n
This event is organised in partnership with Birmingham BabyLab at the School of Psychology at University of Birmingham, the Centre for Developmental Science, and the Centre for Human Brain Health.\n
