SUMMARY:Birmingham Stories: Story Exchange
UID:www.birmingham.ac.uk/203535
DESCRIPTION:Can you remember a moment when you felt truly at home? What has made you feel homesick? What stories would you tell to explain what home means to you? Everyone is invited to join us at our Story Exchange, an inclusive workshop that connects people through stories.\n
Your stories will be kept in strict confidence at this small-scale, intimate workshop. You don’t need to be a skilled storyteller to participate; you will be supported at every stage by our trained facilitators. Story Exchange generates a deep sense of empathy between participants – something that feels more urgent now than ever before.\n
This event is presented as part of A Place to Call Home – a new public programme of exhibitions, activities and events exploring what home means to all of us. Understand diverse experiences through the eyes of people who have lived through them and find out about the latest social justice research at the University of Birmingham.\n
