SUMMARY:Little Creators: City Building
UID:www.birmingham.ac.uk/196733
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a city building and model making workshop aimed at Little Creators aged five plus, led by Dr. Sophie Hadfield-Hill and Professor Peter Kraftl.\n
We’ll explore what makes a good city, how we want our cities look and how we can better design them for children, young people and families. In this hands-on, creative session we’ll work together to build a model city that’s environmentally friendly, complete with homes, transport and spaces for play and nature. At the end of the session your Little Creators can take their part of the city home.\n
This activity is presented as part of The Air We Breathe, a public programme at The Exchange, with an exhibition, activities and events that explore the close relationships between us, our environment and our air quality. From a hydrogen train to a sci-fi forest, discover the work being done by the University of Birmingham to deliver clean air both here in Birminghama nd around the world and how you can get involved.\n
