Ever wondered what life would be like as an explorer?
Join us at the Lapworth Museum to find out about the life of explorer. Activities range from trails, to experiments, arts and crafts and much, much more.
- 11:00 - 12:00 & 1:00 - 2:00: Object handling. Get up close and personal with real Museum objects! Find out more about the equipment that was historically used on expeditions, and see how things have change.
- 2:30: Fascinating field work. Hear all about the field work that modern day geologist go on and ask our Learning and Community Development Officer about life in the field.
- All day: Enjoy trail around the Museum and get stuck into our arts and crafts activities.
Please note that the above timings are approximations and are subject to change. All events are free of charge and drop in activities – there is no need to book. All of our events are appropriate for ages 5+ (however the Museum is appropriate for all ages)
