Marvel at the magnificent world of Maps!

Join us at the Lapworth Museum to find out more about the magnificent world of maps! Discover examples of early geological maps, maps of our wonderful river and canal networks, and maps with a secret military history.

Activities range from trails, to demonstrations, arts and crafts and much, much more.

  • Arts & Crafts Activities: running all day (suitable for all ages)
  • Trails: running all day (suitable for all ages)
  • Temporary Map exhibition curated by the Map Room (School of Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences): open thought the Easter Break situated in the Education Room
  • Dressing Up activities: running all day (suitable for all ages)
  • Military Maps (talk suitable for ages 10+): 12:30 & 15:00 
  • Magnificent Maps (talk suitable for ages 5+): 10:30 & 13:00

All of our events are free of charge unless otherwise stated. Donations are always welcomed.
