The Lapworth Museum of Geology welcomes Rock Choir!

Join the Lapworth Museum of Geology in welcoming Rock Choir to the Museum!

Get yourselves out of the cold and into the warmth to enjoy fun and festive music whilst surrounded by Birmingham’s favourite fossils! (Personally we can not think of a more fitting place for a 'Rock' Choir to preform). This event is free of charge, festive refreshments will be provided.

When musician and singer Caroline Redman Lusher first established Rock Choir in 2005, little did she realise what an amazing phenomenon she'd created. There was no big game plan – just a burning desire to reawaken people's joy of singing, and give them a fun, life enhancing experience.

And people can't get enough of it.

Rock Choir is the UK's largest and most popular contemporary choir with more than 20,000 members in over 300 local communities nationwide. It offers adults the chance to sing and perform popular contemporary songs, with no auditions and no requirements to read music or have any previous singing experience. New members are always welcome and anyone interested in joining can try a free 90-minute taster session.

Rock Choir's uplifting ethos of fun, friendship and community spirit is a huge part of its attraction. At an individual level, it helps improve people's self-confidence, enables them to develop new singing skills, and enjoy a dynamic new social life. Singing together and achieving such a great sound gives members a huge sense of fulfilment. Added to this is the glamour and excitement of performing in public, which for many is a truly liberating experience.

Rock Choir is getting the nation singing, inspiring happiness, positive energy and community spirit. Anyone interested in joining can book a free taster session at any of Rock Choir's locations across the UK.
