Lapworth Family Event - Pterrific Pterosaurs

This event will take place in the museum throughout the day. The event is free of charge. Booking is not required.

Pterosaurs ruled the skies while dinosaurs roamed below. Often, they mae up the background as T-rex hunts its prey, but it’s time to put these flying reptiles in the limelight and discover more about their incredible life! Join the Lapworth Museum for talks, crafts and colouring focused on these pterrific creatures!

Activities range from stories, talks, trails and craft activities. Have a go at creating your own pterosaur!

Timetable:

  • 11:00 and 14:00 Join Lizzy (Museum’s Learning Officer) for a talk on ‘Pterrific Pterosaurs’, find out how they lived, what they looked like and some of the incredible fossils that have been discovered! (suitable for 5+) [Education Room]

Throughout the day:

  • Museum Trails (all ages)
  • Arts & Crafts activities! (all ages) [Jurassic Seas area]
