Family Fun Events - Wriggly Caterpillar craft

Wriggly Caterpillars Craft Workshop

About the workshops

Join us on November 25th for a crafty workshop, creating a wriggly caterpillar from recycled materials.

Using caterpillars as inspiration, children will focus on creating their very own caterpillar sculpture to take home.
A template will be provided as a visual aid along with instruction sheets.
A mix of recycled/everyday materials will be provided for them to construct and embellish their wriggly caterpillars.

Recommended for ages 3+. Adult supervision is required.

About the artist

Pamela Schilderman is a Dutch/Brazilian artist whose work is influenced by science. She creates sculptures, drawings and paintings using traditional and unusual materials.

For the past two years she has been working with the University of Birmingham and the Lapworth Museum of Geology on EcologyNOW, a project about animal conservation. You can see her art as you follow the trail round the museum; then have your say and vote whether humans are the most important species on earth today?

Tickets

This workshop is free to attend but a ticket is required for each workshop participator. There will be a maximum of 20 tickets available for each session.

Tickets are available on the eventbrite page here: Wriggly Caterpillars Workshop Tickets
