Museums and Wellbeing

There has been a growing understanding of the positive impact museums can have on our mental health.

Year 7 students from King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy and the University of Birmingham School worked together, alongside the Lapworth Museum of Geology, to explore the link between Museums and Wellbeing.
Students were involved in every stage of the creative process to produce this innovative exhibition.

Find out what objects the students chose to display and why, and read their thoughts through emojis and poetry.

This is a temporary exhibition and there is no admission charge.
