Arts Award Discover

The Lapworth Museum of Geology is a registered Arts Award Centre and Supporter with a trained advisor at Discover and Explore Level.

Arts Award Discover is an introductory award which encourages children and young people to identify a range of art forms, take part in art activities, find out about artists and their work and share their art discoveries with others.

The Museum runs Arts Award Discover in a Day sessions throughout the year to enable young people to gain this award in full. Get in touch with Aerona to find out when our next session will be.

Arts Award Discover at Home

The Lapworth Museum has developed a range of fun and engaging activities that young people can take part in at home in order to gain their Arts Award Discover certificate. Please note there is no cost associated with completing the award with the Lapworth Museum.

The activities encourage young people to identify a range of art forms, take part in art activities, find out about artists and their work and share their art discoveries with others.
