On behalf of Professor Dr Michiel van Agtmael (Chair of EACPT education working group), Professor Ylva Böttiger (EACPT Chair) and Professor Jamie Coleman (EACPT Chair-elect) we would like to invite expressions of interest in attending the European Association of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Education Focus meeting taking place this Autumn.
Places will be limited to ensure that this two day meeting has plenty of interactive sessions.
A range of relevant workshops, lectures and demonstrations covering all aspects of pharmacotherapeutic education will be on offer including:
- How to do Problem Based Leaning well in CPT education
- Interactivity in the Classroom Setting
- Digital Innovation workshop
- Gamification
- Building Workplace based learning in prescribing and therapeutics
- Using simulation in pharmacy and therapeutics education
- Instructional design for effective eLearning
The meeting will start with an informal dinks reception at the Medical School on Thursday 6th September at 6.30pm, with the meeting starting on Friday 7th September at 10am. On the Friday evening a formal dinner will be held on the University campus, in the new Edgbaston Park Hotel, with the meeting continuing on Saturday 7th September finishing at 4pm.
