Bed and breakfast accommodation at Chamberlain in Vale Student Village, all rooms are single en-suite (with a shower and toilet, bedding and towels provided) wifi access is included.  Check-in is available from 4pm. You can check in at the Chamberlain Reception between 8am - 10pm, if arriving after these hours report to the Shackleton Reception.  If you arrive early you can leave your bags with the Reception Team.  Please check out no later than 10am.

Rooms are available for 5 nights, from Sunday 26th to Thursday 30th August (check out Friday 31st August).  Rooms are £40 per night, Bed and Breakfast. All rooms are single occupancy. This must have been booked during registration.

How to walk from accommodation to the conference venue (Medical School).

Reception is in the Shackleton building, facilities include:

  • 24 hr Reception
  • Breakfast served in the Shackleton restaurant, 7am - 9am.  
  • ATM
  • Shop (opening times, 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday)
  • Duck and Scholar Bar at Shackleton will be open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 8pm (please be advised times may alter, reception staff will able to advise)

Set in the beautiful surroundings of lakeside parkland, the Vale Village is the University’s largest accommodation site on Edgbaston Campus. The Vale Village is approximately a 15 minute walk to the conference venue at the Medical School.
