The University is easily accessible by train, the University Station is only two stops from Birmingham New Street. The majority of trains departing Birmingham New Street Station leave from platforms 11 and 12. You must purchase a ticket from one of the automated ticket machines before boarding your train. Trains returning to Birmingham depart from platform 1 at University Station. When leaving the University Station turn right and head towards the pedestrian crossing. You will see the Medical School in front of you when crossing the road.

Upon arrival at the Medical School please follow the signs to the Wolfson Centre for Medical Education for registration.

Student Accommodation
The address is: Chamberlain Halls of Residence, University of Birmingham, 37 Church Road, B15 3SR.
Chamberlain Reception is open between 8am - 10pm, check-in is available from 4pm. If you arrive early you can leave your bags with the Reception Team. If arriving after these hours report to the Shackleton Reception. Breakfast will be served in the Shackleton restaurant, 7am - 9am. Please check out no later than 10am on the day of your departure.

Duck and Scholar Bar at Shackleton
For those looking for somewhere to socialise on campus, the Duck and Scholar Bar at Shackleton will be open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 8pm (please be advised times may alter, Shackleton reception staff will able to advise).
