Presenter Information

Plenary Presentations
Plenary presentations are allocated 45 minutes. 

Keynote Presentations
Keynote presentations are allocated 30 minutes, 25 minutes presentation and 5 minutes questions. 

Session Lecture Presentations
Session Lecture presentations are allocated 20 minutes, 15 or 17 minutes and 5 or 3 minutes questions.

Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are allocated 20 minutes, 15 minutes presentations and 5 minutes questions.

Early Career Researchers oral presentations are allocated 15 minutes, 12 minutes presentations and 3 minutes questions

We request that all oral presentations are either pre-loaded onto the PC desktop prior to your session or if you are using a laptop you have checked the connection before your presentation slot.

AV Equipment in Lecture Theatres

All lecture theatres have a PC with a HDMI/VGA laptop input and a data projector and screen. 

If you are using your own laptop please ensure it is fully charged and you have checked the connection in the lecture theatre before your scheduled presentation slot. We also recommend bringing your presentation on a memory stick as a back-up.

If you are using an Apple Laptop please ensure you have the correct cables for a HDMI/VGA input. 

The Leonard Deacon Lecture Theatre also has a Mac.

Poster Presentations
Posters should be A0 portrait (841x1189mm).

Poster Presentation Sessions, presenters are asked to be at their posters at the following times: 
Monday Poster Session: Odd number posters
Tuesday Poster Session: Even Number Posters

Posters can be displayed for the duration of the conference, all poster boards will be numbered with the assigned abstract number, drawing pins will be in each board.

Flash Poster Presentations (by invitation only)
Flash poster presentations should be a maximum of 3 minutes and no more than 3 slides.
