MBChB Reunion Dinner

reuniondinner-1250x394

Every year, thanks to funding from the Sir Arthur Thomson Charitable Trust, Medicine and Dentistry alumni who have been graduated 30 years are invited to a special 30-year reunion dinner.

About the dinner

The Sir Arthur Thomson Trust is a charity that was set up in 1964 by Sir Arthur Thomson, an alumnus who became Dean of the Medical School and Vice-Principal of the University. The aim of the Trust is to provide support to Birmingham medicine and dentistry students through scholarships, prizes, equipment and other facilities to help with their educational development.

The evening commences at 6pm with a short presentation then a tour of the Medical School (B1 on campus map) followed by a wine reception from 7.15pm and dinner served from 8pm in the Great Hall, Aston Webb Building, University of Birmingham (R6 on campus map).

We understand that this may be difficult under some circumstances, for example if you are coming from abroad and we will of course understand if you do not have a dinner jacket available, therefore lounge suits would be acceptable.

We would be delighted to receive some photographs from your time at Medical School, we are particularly keen to obtain a copy of the group graduation photograph taken on the steps at the front of the Medical School building.  These will be displayed during the evening meal.  Please use the form below to upload your photographs or email the Medical School Events Team, academic.conferences@contacts.bham.ac.uk
