Pulse Sequences

The staff and users are developing pulse sequences to increase throughput and information content for structure determination, screening and metabolomics.

NMR pulse sequence developments available  in HWB•NMR include:

  • projection angle data collection and processing, substantially reducing data acquisition times for protein assignment and structure determination.
  • Fast 2D NMR methods for metabolite analysis including J-resolved spectra and HADAMARD TOCSY.
  • New pulse sequences for dynamic nuclear polarization are being developed and tested using the HyperSense system.
  • Improved ligand screening methods including SALMON are being developed and tested with a range of therapeutic target proteins.
