Award Description
The School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion invite applications for the £2,000 Bursary Prizes for those opting for the Global Philosophy of Religion and Ethics pathway. This is an open competition for any applicant (full-time or part-time, Home or International, Distance-Learning or campus-based) and awards will be made according to the merit of the application.
Value of Award
Each bursary prize is worth £2,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must have applied to study for the MA Philosophy of Religion and Ethics Global pathway for 2023 entry.
How to Apply
In addition to the normal MA application process, applicants wishing to be considered for the bursary should write no more than 300 words to make their case for receiving an award (e.g highlighting their particular strengths: academic and/or other experience). These cases should then be emailed directly to Professor David Cheetham: d.cheetham@bham.ac.uk no later than 11.59pm UK time on Friday 16 June 2023.
Applications for Bursary Prizes will be considered by the School’s Endowment Committee and successful applicants will be informed at the beginning of July 2023.
