For UK students, this award would cover tuition fees and a small monthly maintenance.

For EU and overseas students, this would be awarded as a tuition fee contribution.

How to Apply

In order to apply, you must have completed an application to study. You will then need to complete our online funding application form. Your application must also be supported by two references.

For detailed advice and to complete the online funding application and funding reference forms, please visit our College of Arts and Law Scholarships How to Apply page.

The deadline for applying is 4pm on Monday 1 March 2021 for Doctoral Researchers or 4pm on Monday 22 March 2021 for Masters by Research.

If you have already made an application for Arts and Humanities Research Council funding through the Midlands4Cities consortium, or for another College of Arts and Law scholarship, your application will automatically be considered for the Stanley Ray Scholarship, if eligible, without you having to make additional applications.  Please note, other schemes are available that have alternative processes and require a separate application. This includes Economic and Social Research Council funding.
