What is the future of the third sector

TSRC's National Conference brought together people from across the voluntary and community sector to discuss how research can address the challenges ahead.
Drawing from our research from the past 5 years, the conference explored some of the key issues facing the sector today - and what this means for the future.
The conference invited people to discuss key topics with TSRC researchers and experts working in and for the sector. It was a participatory event, and delegates were given the opportunity to have their say about issues facing the third sector, and the questions that need to be asked about its future.
The conference also discussed issues arising from our Third Sector Futures Dialogue. This dialogue addressed a series of key questions affecting the sector, informed by TSRC’s research, open online discussion, and a Sounding Board of leading figures in the sector. A summary of some of the issues that have emerged so far can be found in the conference publication.
