Marie Curie PhD Fellow Alice Manzini presented her paper on 'The "new" external dimension of EU public procurement law' at the EUSA 16th biennial international conference in Denver (Colorado), organised by the European Union Studies Association.

This event saw the participation of more than 450 participants from almost 300 institutions and focused on the common theme 'Coming Together of Falling Apart?'. 

Alice presented her research as part of a panel on 'The EU the Ultimate Convergence Actor? The EU as a Global Legal Actor in Trade', chaired by Professor Elaine Fahey from City, University of London. Her paper, focused on the intersection between public procurement and the EU Common Commercial Policy, was discussed by Professor Wolfgang Weiß (German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer).
