With some sadness, I want to share the news with you that I will be stepping down at the end of this month from the role of CHASM’s Director.

I am leaving the University of Birmingham to join Aston University to form a new research centre there. I am very pleased however, that my links with the Centre will continue as I have accepted an invitation to become a CHASM Associate member.

I am delighted to announce that the role of Centre Director will be taken over, from 1 April, by Dr Louise Overton, current Deputy Director of the Centre, following a selection process. The Deputy Director role vacated by Louise, will in turn be filled by Dr Stewart Smyth, currently a core member of the Centre.

I am very pleased to be leaving the Centre in such capable hands and look forward to continuing to work with the wider team at Birmingham on other projects in the future. Do please follow me @AndyLymer to hear more about my new venture or feel free to contact me by email at a.lymer@aston.ac.uk in the future.

With best wishes,

Andy Lymer
Director of Centre on Household Assets and Savings Management (CHASM)
